  • $25 fee for TDLR student permit application.
  • $250 registration fee.

  • Open 7 days a week.
  • Full-time: 40 hours a week.
  • Part Time: 20 hours a week.

Tuition Payment Schedule

  • Current Tuition: $9,000 ($5,000 scholarship applied).
  • $14,000 after accreditation.


  • Tools, Kit, and Textbooks: $1,215.


  • Full-Time (7 Months): $250 Non-Refundable Registration Fee
  • Due at enrollment appointment: $2,251, which is for your tool kit, text books, and 1st month's payment. All remaining payments are due on the 1st of each month.
  • The monthly payment lasting for 7 months: $1,286


  • Part-Time (12 Months): $250 Non-Refundable Registration Fee
  • Due at enrollment appointment: $1,717, which is for your tool kit, text books, and 1st month's payment. All remaining payments are due on the 1st of each month.

Here are the most common questions about our Barbering Program.

  • What is the cost of the barber program?

    The barber program costs $9,000 with a $5,000 scholarship applied (available until accreditation approval for FAFSA). Once accreditation is approved, the total program cost will be $14,000, excluding the kit and supplies.

  • How long will it take me to complete the program?

    Our Barbering Program requires 1,000 hours. 

  • How much is the tool kit, supplies, and textbooks?

    Your tool kit, supplies, and textbooks are provided at $1,215, which is due at orientation.

  • When is orientation?

    Orientation typically occurs at least 2 weeks prior to your start date.

  • Do you offer night classes?

    Yes! Our goal is to make schooling available to our students when its most convenient for them. Whether its day or night classes, IMPACT has you covered.

  • Do you offer monthly payments?

    Yes, we do! Full-Time students can expect to pay $1,286 a month for 7 months and Part-Time students can expect to pay $750 a month for 12 months.

  • How many hours does it take to complete the program?

    If you are enrolled in the Barber program, then you are required to complete 1,000 program hours.

  • Are online classes available?

    Yes, we offer up to 500 hours of distance learning. 

  • When can I start?

    We have classes starting on the first Tuesday of every month. Check out our enrollment schedule.

  • Do I need to buy anything extra to start?

    No. All of our costs cover everything needed to set you up for success.

  • Do you accept FAFSA?

    Not yet as we are working toward accreditation. Completion of accreditation is expected within the first half of 2025. Afterward, IMPACT Barber Academy will be able to offer FAFSA.

  • Do you offer night classes?

    Yes! IMPACT is here to serve you. You can enjoy night classes Monday through Wednesday from 5pm to 9pm and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm. 

  • What is the full-time daytime class schedule?

    IMPACT offers full-time schedules Tuesday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm.

  • Do you offer Spanish speaking classes?

    Not at this time, but we are working on offering classes in Spanish soon.

  • Do I need a high school diploma/GED?

    Yes, a high school diploma or equivalent is required. 

  • How old do I have to be to get started?

    You must be at least 17 years old or older.
